Holiday in Samos

I am travelling to Samos in the beginning of July,
with a friend. I have no experiece how the island is
like, so I need YOUR help!
I am travelling to Pythagorion, so I would like to
know what the place is like in the summertime, is there
a lot of people? what to do, where to go ?where are
the best places to eat, is there any party going on IF
we would be interested?
I would be grateful for any information, as we want
to make the best of our holidays!
